Goodness Nose - win signed copies!

Books by true Scotch whisky 'insiders' are rare, and in Goodness Nose one of the industry's highest profile figures, master blender Richard Paterson, teams up with our own Gavin D Smith to chronicle his life and times over more than four decades in the whisky business.

Glasgow-born Paterson is a third generation master blender, and the bulk of his career has been spent with Whyte & Mackay, working not only to develop the firm's range of blends, but also with its Dalmore, Jura and Fettercairn single malts.

The 'revelations' of the title take the form of inviting the reader into Paterson's blending room, where for the first time he demonstrates the 'nuts and bolts' of how blends are created, including contributions from a number of his fellow blenders in addition to his own chosen modus operandi.

The book is illustrated with an excellent selection of photographs, most previously unpublished, and is the ideal Christmas present for whisky lovers everywhere.
